"A beautiful climb and a great pleasure to be welcomed in such a charming place! That's what I said to myself as I arrived at Les Fouchies. Indeed, it is a steep climb from Courtételle but the path is nice and wide; for that matter you can also drive up. The menu on offer that day was "bœuf bourguignon with home-made Spätzli", all served in a tastefully and lovingly decorated dining room: a bench and chairs made of light wood, cross-stitching motifs, some beautifully arranged objects and a few eggs. You could tell Easter was coming. Serving the coffee, the landlord told us that the water came from their own tank and the electricity was generated by solar power. We felt so good that we didn't want to think about leaving."
